Apartment Therapy Giveaway

me stalking Apartment Therapy in NYC

I had the pleasure of meeting Maxwell from Apartment Therapy NYC yesterday. I donated two copies of my best-selling book SORTED! to AT readers – check out the link here.

Thankfully, Maxwell doesn’t mind stalkers (nor did any other of the lovelies at AT).

If you’re wanting organising/organizing tips AND design solutions, this is Maxwell’s terrific book: apartment therapy the eight step home cure. 2-28-cover2

More about NAPO

I don’t want to seem lazy but I confess the two best posts written about NAPO conference in Reno, Nevada, U.S.A. have already been written (DAMN THOSE ORGANISED NAPO BLOGGERS!). I’d love you to check out their reports – lots of good links to very valuable info from organising/organizing experts:

Awesome links to guru bloggers – you will LOVE the organising tips and info – from the delightful, spunky, brown eyed Brandie Kajino of www.thehomeofficeorganizer.com fame
http://www.thehomeofficeorganizer.com/organizing-business-blogger-meetup-link-roundup/

and from my NAPO room-mate and blogger extraordinaire, Jeri Dansky, on the dirt on the fabulous Peter Walsh, former Aussie and organising guru. Peter is the author of “it’s all too much” and “does this clutter make my arse look fat”… ok, it’s really “..butt look fat”. Peter is also in with the in crowd – Oprah!

If only I were more organised and got to this comprehensive reporting sooner! LOL! Well, I might have had I been near a computer over the past three days!

Hello from Reno / Peter Walsh

I’m in Reno, Nevada, at the National Association of Professional Organizers Conference.  Peter Walsh was the keynote speaker and I am happy to say I just managed to say hi and get my book signed from him.  Very funny guy, very DTE and delighted to see a former Aussie (he’s now a U.S. citizen) doing so well on the world stage.  Kudos Peter!

Taxstar

Have you used the Australian “Taxstar” system to organise your tax documentation? I was kindly sent a sample, but as an Apple computer user, I can’t use it because it’s not cross-platform. Doh! I’d be keen to know what you think if you’ve tried it and what the pros and cons are… post away…taxstar.com.au
