Keyboard shortcuts

OMG – how good is this for Apple users??  I’m sure you’re familiar keyboard shortcuts, for example “command c” for cut or “command p” for paste.

If you’re an Apple user like me, you will LOVE this organisational tutorial.  It shows you how to
customise your keyboard shortcuts… I LOVE IT!!!! What a great tool.

Do you have the  equivalent for PC users?  Do tell…!

Multitasking made easy!

Multitasking is a good thing when it’s kept simple.  My friend Miranda, has a great way of maximising her time and getting lots done.

Kids in the bath + wiping surfaces and mirror in bathroom.

Two jobs completed in one!

My worktime favourite:

On hold (speaker phone) to Optus + sorting paperwork or data entry

What are some of your successful multitasking tips?  What’s been good and what’s been a disaster?

Great Oprah episode on now!

Oprah story (airing NOW on channel 9) today speaks living within means; including not consuming as much as we do, ’skip dipping’ and living more frugally – despite having a good income. Great story!

UPDATE:  Sorry if by the time you tuned in the show had morphed into mom-works-as-stripper… (I think the theme of the show must have been “alternative lifestyles” or something like that…)

procrastination

flying-solo-logo.jpgAre you a procrastinator? I am too, although I’m generally quite selective about when I put things off. There’s some great conversation here, at Flying Solo, a teriffic on-line resource for small business owners.

I’ll let you in on a secret: my post (about three quarters down the page) is actually an extract from my new book, SORTED! But the bottom line is that it’s not in your best interests to shuffle deck chairs on the Titanic.

If you like what you see, I also write for Flying Solo – you can find my articles here.
