I urge you to insert your excuse here.

We’re all too busy, too tired, too what-EVA to do what-eva!  Sara Getzkin, Superhero organizer, (and fellow LA Organizing Awards nominee) inspired me with her recent Facebook post “I urge you to insert your excuse here.”

Go for it!  Tell me your excuse!

Great timewaster / procrastination tool

Procrastination

I’ve been enjoying reading O Magazine. On their website, I spotted this:

Do You Put Things Off?
Please be part of our research on procrastination! Dan Ariely, the author of Predictably Irrational, has designed a quick survey for you.

You might like to fill out the short survey… later…

or… when you get around to it… share the tasks you most procrastinate about.  And/or, the tasks you NEVER procrastinate about (I know eating and banking cheques are two things that I never delay on!)

flying-solo-logo.jpgAre you a procrastinator? I am too, although I’m generally quite selective about when I put things off. There’s some great conversation here, at Flying Solo, a teriffic on-line resource for small business owners.

I’ll let you in on a secret: my post (about three quarters down the page) is actually an extract from my new book, SORTED! But the bottom line is that it’s not in your best interests to shuffle deck chairs on the Titanic.

If you like what you see, I also write for Flying Solo – you can find my articles here.
